Understanding men part 2

This post is targeted at the dating community but really anyone who is interested or would like to contribute to the dialogue is of course welcome to do so here.

Premise: a man is trying to get the attention of a girl at her place of work while on shift.

Instagram is now a hook-up site, and a dating app update

I have to occupy my brain with some superficial stupidity so I thought I’d share some of said stupidity with you. You’re welcome.

I very rarely go into my DMs on Instagram, but occasionally I wander in there to see what’s going on.

This happened yesterday.

Look at all the men who popped up in recent days. I’m so lucky! 🙄

Dating apps essay (part 1)

Some of you asked for dating apps stories, so I compiled one and published it on my Medium account. https://claudettelabriola.medium.com/

For your convenience, I cross-posted it here for you as well.

As I continue to write my stories, and edit my stories, and proofread my stories, and finish my stories, and begin new stories, I realized something.

I need some personal experience to supplement some of my creativity. And this is the reason why I started a bit of an unusual experiment a couple of weeks ago.

Really unusual.

The clever nicknames dating women give to men

I have recently discovered some blogs of women who date and then they talk about it on the internet.

Some of them are very clever and call their dates all these imaginative nicknames (to protect their privacy). I actually admire their creativity – not sure if I would have been quite that colourful back in my single days had the internet been a household item at the time. 😀

But let’s see. Perhaps I can come up with some nicknames for some of these guys from my past, even though in some cases, I didn’t actually go out with them despite their interest in me. (I was shy, introverted and suspicious of most men, due to some experiences I had while working as a flight attendant, my previous job.) I won’t name them all, but I’ll name the three that stand out the most from my four years working at a simulator training facility. Continue reading “The clever nicknames dating women give to men”
