I returned home to the family today (after spending a few days at mom’s) with a car full of groceries.

The puppy went berserk. 😄 Good thing I left the bags in the car at first, since I was getting mauled immediately upon entering. 🙄

A day in the life of lockdown Toronto 🇨🇦

I went to my mom’s this week and stayed a couple of nights (she’s been part of our bubble since the beginning of covid). Today, she took me to a suburban town to a store which imports some goods from Germany. They also have a deli and a bakery where they make prepared food inhouse. For instance, cabbage rolls. (I bought some). 😛

I was excited to go out. I’ve been sitting in either my mom’s house, or my own, typing, purging, cooking or doing other domestic things.

Meh.

So a trip to a new/different store was exciting! 🙄 For the occasion I even put on actual clothes. Yippie! 😄

Real clothes instead of leggings or yoga wear.

Morning chit chat

My ear hurts. The one I can still hear out of. This sucks, but also doesn’t. Perhaps today will be a welcome quiet day for me? I could write more, since there’s nothing else to do these days, and without hearing things like people talking, I may be able to concentrate better…

I woke with the ear pain this morning. I am not prone to ear infections at all. I can clearly remember only one ear infection ever, and that was some years ago. Never in childhood or any other time when I was sick with Meningitis. Which is interesting because the illness caused me to lose much of my hearing…
