This was me at my Sunday evening event.
I gotta tell you, I’m riding a high here that has me filled with such joy and happiness – if you get a chance to go to an immersive show (Van Gogh is one of many, we also have Claude Monet and Gustav Klimt in Toronto) you must go!
I had no idea what to expect. But I was very impressed and, like I said, filled with this immense feeling of possibilities and colour! Everything I look at now shines brighter. ✨🌞✨
The history of this painter, Vincent Van Gogh, is well-known to me (I studied Fine Art in highschool and University), but this was an experience like no other. Being immersed in his art was incredible. You got to live in it. It’s diffcult to explain, even for a writer of words like me. 😀
The cafe was my favorite.
I wanted to sit at a table, sip a cappuccino, and be immersed into the atmosphere. Sadly, there were no tables and there was no cappuccino.
I’ll write more about it another time, and share some photos.
Today I was doing other stuff, including working on two custom bracelet orders. I have been neglectful of my jewelry business because life happened, and I was away for a time from my shop, but I’m back into my routine now. I have a new design ready to showcase, along with the photos my customers sent me wearing my jewelry. I haven’t forgotten, I’m in catch-up mode. No worries!
This is the bracelet Christine saw on twitter. She liked it so much and wondered why she couldn’t see it in the Etsy store.
“Because it’s mine,” I told her. “I love it so I’m keeping it. But, I’ll make you the same one, or with different colours! You tell me what you like and I’ll design it for you.”
I started working on it today. 🙂
Meanwhile, March is upon us. 🌷🌞🌷
Thank goodness… I need warm weather to ditch my boots and wear these, instead. 🥰
Thank you for reading my post. See you in the comments.
