The Two of Swords in conjunction with the Page of Wands are probably the most appropriate cards together for people who are struggling with decisions about important life matters.
I talk about the Page of Wands card in this post (scroll down). This was the card that leaped out of my hand while shuffling, so I kept it as a sign that it was meant for me.
The Two of Swords card from the Minor Arcana side of the deck indicates a blindfolded woman holding two swords crossed but in perfect symmetry, calmly contemplating something. There is water peppered with islands behind here.
- Swords are air energy and symbolize thoughts and intellect
- Libra (and Gemini and Aquarius) are air signs. I am a Libra and I also see Libra symbolism in the way the swords are perfectly aligned on either side.
- The water symbolizes feelings and emotions, fluid in their characteristics.
- The blindfold on the woman implies not seeing clearly. The moon sometimes points to illusion, things that seem a certain way but are not.
I wonder if the blindfold implies her inability to see a situation clearly, or if she put it on herself as a form of avoidance.
Water and air elements together
A major decision needs to be made but requires both intellectual decision making (thoughts, air energy) and emotional contribution (feelings, water energy).
Swords crossed in perfect symmetry implies balancing out pros and cons, struggling with indecision, reaching an impasse, or maybe trying to be fair.
This card is so accurate to my life at the moment. Although I identify as the blindfolded woman with the swords, I also recall that the Page of Wands points me toward a solution. Remember, his wand had sprouts on it, clearly demonstrating that the decision was already made, it just hasn’t been activated fully yet.

By the way, I’ve been making new jewelry. I got an order of cute charms delivered which I’ve been using (stars, moons and sun) and I designed a few pieces. Check them out!
