Yesterday I went from feeling high (not that kind) and happy to crappy and discombobulated in a matter of hours.
I wrote a short blog post announcing to the internet how everything sucks in this godforsaken province and the deleted it without publishing. You’re welcome. 😐
I must redirect myself.
So this morning I traveled around my screen captures. Everytime I see something noteworthy, I save it to my phone. Time to share some positivity, both as a method to re-wire my brain and, hopefully, inspire some of you, too.
Here’s my first reminder to myself:
If confidence is quiet and insecurities are loud, I need to learn to shut up.
This next one I’m sure holds true for many of us as we navigate our journeys with all the people in our lives:

Some of us are over-thinkers:
There is nothing in this world that can trouble you more than your own thoughts.
Some of us are worriers:
Worrying does not take away tomorrow’s troubles. It takes away today’s peace.
Let the re-wiring begin.
Cheers.
Funny, glad to know I am not the only moody one out there. Love this!

I go through similar ups and downs – usually for days at a time. It’s very odd. A girl I used to work with said I was predictable – that I would go through cycles of being interested or invested in different things again and again.

Yes. Let me count the ways:
Tinkering with code or old, defunct computer systems.
Transferring content from Evernote to Notion to XYZ to ABC back to Evernote.
Airplanes.
Among other things… 😉😘

I think a lot of us felt that way after Ford’s announcement this week.

Love those flowers, it might not be a bright sunny day but those are around the corner. Inspiration will come back and before you know it the sun will shine again. That quote is the sort of thing I needed to see today. Thanks for the post.

Inspiring. Don’t beat yourself up if you can’t follow them all. We are after all creatures of habit. Requiring may take some time. Some of us are still working on it.

It seems like the average person is a poopy-head. Don’t be a poopy-head, and you’re automatically above average.

We all need a reset here and there. Life pushes us and it’s our natural tendency to focus on the negative. It stands out more. Being mindful is a step in the right direction.

Yes, you’re right. It’s been a long pandemic, which is partly the reason for all the disillusionment.
