Domestic day – writing break

I took a day off from writing. I needed food and went grocery shopping. You’ll be glad to know I left the chips, which were on sale, at the store. 😎

Miss Vicky’s chips are a trigger at my house

I took my time putting the stuff away. Some of it is still on the counter.

See the lonely broom in the back? I started a new chore before I finished the old chore…🙃

There’s even a bag full of extra food hanging outside waiting to be relocated to the freezer in the garage.

I told Tucker to leave it. He’s 7 months. Will he obey? 🙄

I started sweeping the kitchen.

Don’t worry I’ll swiffer it later…

Can someone send me a housekeeper? I promise to pay a fair wage AND tip. 🙂

The broom is mocking me.

I noticed somebody lined up all the Smurfs on the Billy bookcase. What should I do with them?

Smurfs aka dust collectors aka clutter. But they’re cute, aren’t they?

I should get up and stop procrastinating on this blog. 😭

Also, the news is depressing, I should turn it off.

Puppy saw something interesting outside.

Then he saw his toy bin on the couch. I put it there because I needed to sweep the floor including his spot.

What should I play with?

At least he found something to do.

Yummy bone.

Ok I’m getting up now. Will finish my chores. Send thoughts and prayers I keep at it until I’m finished, otherwise, be prepared for another post like this. #SorryNotSorry 🇨🇦 😂😛🙄🇨🇦

  1. Please tell me why I can’t get Miss Vickie’s Black Pepper & Lime potato chips in the US anymore??? We have other flavors. At a former job, we had a snack machine in the lunchroom and there were always little bags of black peper & lime chips. Until one day, there were not. Haven’t see them anywhere since. They were so gooooooooood with a Coke. Sigh.

  4. Oh, didn’t know that Sunwing has cancelled all Caribbean trips, guess that means that I won’t be taking my postponed trip to the Dominican Republic for awhile yet. I want to sun tan so badly! and all the tanning beds are closed. But looking on the brighter side of things, I have more time to clean my apartment. 😁😂

      1. We have a three bedroom apartment so it doesn’t take that long to clean and it is not like having a house to take care of. Getting half the house done is a big accomplishment ❤️❤️❤️

  7. Someone smurfed you billy bookcase. As for your broom mocking you, mine does that too. I bought and expensive spin-mop to make it feel jealous. That worked for a while. Now they both mock me.
