There are many published and indie authors following my blog. Did you know this? Let me list some of them for you here. Perhaps we can support one another by buying their books.
When I’m not writing or editing, or dealing with puppy shenanigans, I spend time reading books mentioned by my blog followers, readers and commenters. Allow me to share some of my interests:
Books I have read or am currently reading
- No Time for Kings – Mark Petruska of swingedcat.com
- The Unhappy Wife – K.E. Garland of K E Garland
- Ten at the Wedding – Lynn Jatania of Lynn Jatania and turtlehead.me
Books I have bought and will be reading shortly
- Happy Valley Motor Inn and Resort – Leslie Noyes of Praying for Eyebrowz
Books that have peaked my interest
- The Smell of Cedar – River Dixon of The Stories In Between
- The Woman and the Witch – Amanda Larkman of Middle-Aged Warrior
- Death Comes in through the Kitchen – Teresa Dovalpage of Teresa Dovalpage
- I’m tired of being ordinary, are you? Wm Allen of Harmony Books & Films
Call for action: leave a review for people who write books. I will do this myself mainly because I think writers and authors enjoy knowing what their readers thought of their stories.
My own Works in Progress (WIPs)
My Patreon page is being developed to follow a publishing schedule. I pondered my thoughts on this topic on my page with this unlocked (free) post. What do you think?

The holidays in lockdown have gone well here in Toronto. We even still have all that white fluffy snow covering the mud and dirt (and holes the Beagle dug). It brightens the day significantly, which is so helpful these days. Am I the only one feeling a little out of sorts? A bit depressed? I’m working on staying focused, and keeping myself hydrated and nourished. As I speak, my crockpot is simmering away the remainder of the turkey carcass and by tomorrow we will have a giant pot of soup to ladle from.
I also found out some surprising news: when we went into full lockdown back in mid March, my massage therapy place up the street was ordered to close. We are once again in full lockdown so I anticipated the cancellation email to arrive at any moment for a massage I had booked for December 28.
Well, the cancellation never arrived. I emailed my therapist Jessica and she responded that they were allowed to remain open. Ha! I cannot tell you how happy this makes me. My back has been killing me to the point of being unable to sleep (I have a curve in my spin that is a little off). I hope to feel so much better by tomorrow afternoon. π

And with that positive note, I leave you with the usual invitation:
See you in the comments.
This is a fantastic post! It is so great to see a writer take the time to promote other writers. It fills me with such a sense of community and encouragement. Iβm looking forward to researching these authors and titles some more. Keep up the great work and thank you!
More, I hope the massage helped out with the back pain!

My niece is an author. She writes fantasy which isnβt my thing but I know it appeals to many. Check out Kathryn Sommerlot. Her books are available through Amazon. π

I wrote about this same thing Christmas week. Check out: βSecret Angel of God: The Captive Clairvoyantβ written by Eileen Slovak. I discovered her blog Over Forty Witticismsβ She is very talented.

Thank you for the free publicity. You rock!
I like the idea of developing a blog posting schedule with themed days. It’s something I ponder occasionally.
Hope you get all those kinks out.

Hi darling Writer of Words, I sure do love you post today. I know what you mean by feeling out of sorts when on the surface there is nothing really to be depressed about, but none the less it is hanging on to me. I am very happy that your massage therapist is open and can help you out as you have suffered long enough. I like your ideas and your writing schedule. I wish I was as ambitious. Sending you lots of love.
