Moody on the way to less moody

Hi.

I’m trying to write and failing. I’m distracted and a bit pissed off. SorryNotSorry. (No particular reason, just moody. Sue me.)

The sun is shining today, it’s warm, and there is a plan brewing for little 4 month old Tucker to meet another puppy, a 7 month old. Maybe later today. I may even tag along. Perhaps. Probably.

Maybe.

What? 🙄

If I do tag along, expect the next post to be about dogs and their shenanigans… 🙂

Yesterday, I went for a mammogram. I started writing out the whole thing, about being in a hospital environment in Canada during covid, but I stopped midway. I got distracted, had other stuff going on, couldn’t find the thread to continue later….blah blah blah.

But I did take a picture which I posted to instragram. Not of my chest… (must this be spelled out? 😂 ) but of my face covered with two masks. I had one on when I entered the hospital, and put the medical one they gave me at one of several registration points on top of my cloth one.

No worries, it was a follow-up scan. Whatever lump I had in the past is no longer there and there is no sign of cancer. These follow-ups every 6 months are just precaution.

Today, I’m sitting here in my bedroom wondering how to progress with all of my writing plans. Especially because in the past week or so I have not had a lot of time to sit and write.

I did launch my Patreon page. I still need to put content in it and set up the tiers for my subscribers. But it’s been approved and so I launched it.

Click below on the link to check it out.

Become a Patron!

A subscriber to a Patreon page is called a patron. There are several ways to become a patron of mine. I still have to figure out how to set up the tiers properly, but I do plan on releasing content I publish on this blog on Patreon and continue with subsequent chapters in locked format. Locked means that you must be a patron to unlock and read the content.

Essentially, I am entering the world of crowdfunding.

Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project by raising many small amounts of money from a large number of people, typically via the internet.

So, for less than the price of a Starbucks Latte Grande in Canada today, I would unlock certain content for you.

But I’m not ready yet. I have to figure out the tier thing more. (There is a bit of free content on there now, but most if it is stuff I already posted to the blog, so for some of you, the content is not new.)

I hope to be ready in the coming weeks to take this further. This is my goal, my aspiration.

In the meantime, I think I need to fuel up on another coffee myself.

Happy weekend! Drop a comment, or send me a line if you’re around, I love nothing more than to be distracted when I’m moody.
