In keeping with this morning’s trend, I hereby populate WordPress with more of my happiness. š¶
I’ll tell you what makes me happy:
Clicking unsubscribe on the masses of useless emails coming into my inbox.
Email will be the death of me.
Not your personal ones, I like those, only all the friggen advertising ones for grocery stores, drug stores, pet supply stores and every other venue that sells stuff.
Also while I’m complaining about email can I have less trolls and spam, too? Please?
Like the one from the dude in Sweden who wants me to pray for some girl he’s never met but who will be married off to a god fearing man, or so he was told in a dream by god or something… Apparently he now needs my help praying for this girl. (I don’t know…)

What else makes me happy?
Carbs make me (initially) happy, right before they make me miserable. š Even though they make my stomach hurt I still enjoy a brief time of happy. I don’t care, they tasted good today and maybe I’ll go to bed at 8 pm tonight to sleep off the carb coma.
Another thing that makes me happy is sleep. Uninterrupted is best. Can I have that?
Maybe if I do this first (replace child with puppy):
Parenting seemed a lot easier in 1969…š
And then there’s shoes. Shoes make me happy. I wore my new Clarks today…sadly only to the grocery store. No one wanted to whisk me away anyplace more exciting than that. Like to some little bakery for organic coffee, or a sushi place for lunch. For instance.
Note: any other place is more exciting than a grocery store.
Now, how close to wine time are we?

Wine makes me happy.
Wine is good!

My first question is this.. what has Nina done that we need to pray for her? And second…. does that trash can containment system work for husbands?

The problem with “Happy” is that it can’t be trusted to hang around for much … a cruel diversion. It’s fleeting at best. The junk food of emotions. Try “True Purpose” … It’s got staying power. Also, answer SPAM like it was a Love Letter from Shakespeare.

Good morning Michael. Look who’s back gracing us with his wise words… š
I like that expression “true purpose has staying power”. Thank you for the reminder.

About ten years ago, various online retailers decided to make Black Friday (and Cyber Monday) a thing in Europe. After a couple of days of being flooded by offers and deals, I went to every site I’d ever use and unsubscribed from every email they had.
My inbox has been almost empty ever since — it’s wonderful š
I don’t know about wine, but a wise man once pointed out that it is always bee o’clock somewhere. Enjoy š

I meant beer o’clock, obviously. Bee o’clock would be silly

Of course, I knew that.

Yes in Canada it’s similar with Black Friday… š

I have a pair of Clarks similar to yours and they are my favourite dressy shoes – comfortable with just the perfect additional height. I’ve noticed I’m getting tons more spam comments with this new Block Editor in my WP comments section….Before I might get 50 a week, now it’s like 50 a day?? So annoying….

I think that carbs are messing with my energy levels too, but screw it. I love carbs. Also I love myself a few good drinks. Not necessarily wine, but I’m not that picky. Wishing you all the best!

Thanks. I can handle carbs in moderation…and less the day after some over-indulging. Today was a little too much indulging. š
Cheers!

Out of white so red. But I like both. Not Chardonnay though… š

Those shoes do not look all day comfort standing maybe a visit to a store or a date for coffee.

They are surprisingly comfortable as they have memory foam inside. But you’re right, if I had a job standing all day, or walking, I would not choose these. š

I googled Nina Mikaelsson out of curiosity and apparently they want us to pray for her repentance and salvation and “put angels in her path” because she is a heathen who opposes the gospel.
Tsk tsk, Nina.
Good thing Fredrik in Sweden doesn’t have my name. Forget the prayer chain; he’d need a prayer chain link fence with a little extra barbed wire to atone for my perceived sins.
I too am looking forward to wine o’ clock.

I was gonna google both of them but I’m not in the right frame of mind for stupidity and I may have had to send some trolling emails myself so…meh.
lol
But thanks for the info! lol
