I don’t have much to share today so here are some pictures of a Canadian hockey family spending a typical Sunday doing the usual stuff. Before, and after, going to the rink, of course. 🙂

A home that busy is well lived in and not a sterile hotel. I miss my daughter’s mess in the kitchen as she is an adult now, and I can relate to the cold weather as I also live in Canada and was starting to dream last week about starting some seeds on my enclosed sundeck but it is still too cold.

This reminds me so much of our house – always something happening – always clearing up from something, preparing for something, packing for something, looking for something, washing something… it never ends.

Stuffed bones — I used to do that when I had a dog. I didn’t freeze them, though, so she always managed to lick them clean in almost no time at all.

Of course. It’s obvious now that you mention it, but it had never occurred to me at the time.
That said, I didn’t actually have a freezer when I was single, so maybe I have a partial excuse 😉

Hazelnuts are a big deal in the Pacific Northwest. Marrying them with dark chocolate sounds irresistible!

Seriously, I don’t know how you have time to pose for the camera. It reminds me of when I am correcting papers and sneak looks at blogging to see the spill.
