Sometimes you just gotta type out your frustrations…am I right?
In my defense, the PMS gods are striking so that’s my excuse. 😇
Anyway, this is what has got my panties in a knot last few days:
(You’re welcome)
1. When each person uses a fresh spoon to take out their tea bag and stirs their cup, and then leaves the dirty spoon on top of the dishwasher instead of placing it inside or rinsing it and leaving it to drip dry in the tray. I mean, if this isn’t blanant indication that I am their slave I don’t know what is. Every day I walk past the counter and there’s a collection of dirty spoons waiting for me to put in the washer. Don’t even get me started on the drinking glasses…😐
2. When kids come home on a Friday and leaving their knapsacks and unpacked, unwashed lunch bags to fester, like my mood, this really gets my gall. But I’m not saying anything tonight, not reminding anyone and on Monday morning their lovingly prepared lunch will be sitting on the bare counter and they can do whatever they want with it. Pack it in pillow cases for all I care. 😕
3. I’m not doing NaNoWriMo. I decided I hate writing and the last thing I want to do is travel down some stupid memory lane so I quit. I’ll delete my NaNo account on the site next week. 😵
4. Running is causing me shin splits and the top of my thighs, right above my knees, hurts. I’ve done week 1 sorta kinda more or less according to the app. Well, a new app. The first one sucked so I loaded a second one and I like it better. Time will tell if I continue.
5. Food irritates me. I can’t stop eating or snacking and I wish I could go on a cleanse or detox but I have to drive to a million rinks across a million miles this weekend which means I need sustenance and so the cleanse will have to wait. So I eat and feel sick and…blah. The joys of being a peri-menopaused woman. Shut up.
Which means…🍷
Or maybe 🍷🍷
😛
The end.
Oh no! I am way behind on my blog reading and just catching up now. I hope this “swearing off writing” was temporary! I feel like that ALL THE TIME (any time I read anything good anywhere else in the world, sigh) so I feel you. But we all have a story to tell so I do hope you will come back to it someday.

You and I have one huge thing in common: Our kids coming home and not cleaning out their knapsacks. Out here in Oregon we call them lunch boxes. They’re not exactly boxes…..anyway.
My youngest takes care of hers most of the time but my oldest, forget it. That thing would have more hair than me and she wouldn’t care. 🙂

Neither of mine did it today and it’s after 5 and tomorrow morning they can pack, or not pack, their lunch in whatever they want. I’ll be hiding in the shower so as not to have to witness the struggles. 😛

Means you need some time to yourself. I hope you can find some time to do this.❤️

Now that’s my kind of wine-ing.

You could always put locks on the cabinets and drawers charging a per use washing fee per item. They get their fee back minus transaction fee when their stuff is washed and/or in the dishwasher by them. I’d send you some cupcakes if I could ever figure out how to ship them. They would pair nicely with wine.

Yum.
And coffee too…
I’m thinking of using your peanut butter cookie recipe this weekend.

Definitely good with coffee! Tell me how the cookies come out if you try them.

But if it’s any consolation this made me snort with laughter 😀

Oh dear!!! Sounds like my life! Lol – maybe try a Zumba class or something less high impact like elliptical? Actually a nice quiet meditative yoga session sounds like just what you need! Also good to give yourself a break – let go of stuff if it makes you feel guilty – you will write when you want to write – no point on forcing it – I bet one day you’ll wake up and it will all just flood out of you with ease

The flood with ease has happened to me before…I expect it to hit at the most inoportune time though. 😊

I spend half my life retrieving cups, plates, glasses, and spoons from all over the damn house. And pulling entire PE kit bags from he dirty washing, with boots, swimming goggles, and so on still in them. Yesterday I pulled a school blazer out of the dirty washing that had phone, wallet, and keys in the pockets.

Ahhh! I still have problems with the first two points and I only have my hubby and 22 yr old son in the house right now. As for running my bladder doesn’t deal with that these days 😝. I definitely recommend 🍷🍷. 😊
