I saw this posted on social media in various places and thought it was fun! Let’s have some fun on a Friday afternoon…
Your turn.
1) How do YOU brush your teeth? Pick a number.
2) How do you think I brush my teeth? (Because my way is the right way… hahahaha) š
Here’s a few other things to think about.
3) Do you brush your teeth before or after your first coffee (or tea) in the morning? (I do both, depends on my morning.)
4) How long do you wait to drink something after you brush your teeth? (Because…ick. For me it’s about half an hour and then I start with water.)
5) How often do you brush your teeth in a day? (I do minimum twice, usually 3x, after meals, or after I have something sugary. And yes, I used to take a toothbrush with me to work.)
6) Do you increase your teeth brushing if there is a potential for kissing/make-out session in your day? (Because coffee or tea breath is not for kissing.) š
lol
(I’m losing it today…)
Happy Friday!
1) 2
2) 1
3) Before if on a work day, after if on an off day
4) 30 minutes
5) Twice
6) Nope

Great post!! I do not brush before a date unless I ate something crazy for dinner and I feel stuff between my teeth.

I’m a 3 — toothpaste, then water — and I assume you are the same because that’s the correct way to do it š
I brush my teeth before the first drink of the day. Generally I stagger out of bed in the morning, shower, shave and brush my teeth. Then, if it’s the weekend, I will immediately start brewing the first coffee of the day. On weekdays I wait until I reach the train station.
Two tooth brushings a day — once in the morning and then before I go to bed.
Coffee breath is the best breath š

Iām a number 4. Only toothpaste then spit and rinse the brush (not my mouth). I usually brush first thing in the morning and last thing at night and sometimes in between (especially if there is a likelihood of kissing š). I probably drink coffee too soon after brushing in the morning but I canāt wait half an hour for my caffeine hit. š

I just had coffee without brushing first. š But I always brush after coffee.

I donāt know why, but I really had to stop and think about the way I brush my teeth. Itās such an automatic function.

Ok, so next time you brush, pay attention and then tell us how you do it. How do you think I do it? š

I’m a 3 and timing just really depends as I’m not much of a routine kind of person. Pretty much the only routine time would be right before bed. Other times throughout the day it is dependent on what I’m doing and what I’m eating and when.

Ok. Iām a number 1. I brush first thing in morning, which is before I drink anything. I brush after every meal, plus I brush if Iām about to leave the house. Or make out. But I donāt know what that is anymore….

This is cracking me up – I’ve never thought about it!
1) I do water, toothpaste, water
2) I think you probably do it the same way I do (because I didn’t think there was another way, haha)
3) Neither. I brush my teeth at night before bed. I can’t stand having toothpaste mouth when I’m up and about
4) Hours and hours… because I brush at night
5) I do not brush before a date unless I ate something crazy for dinner and I feel stuff between my teeth. In those instances, though, I usually just floss instead. I can’t stand toothpaste mouth! š

Erm… I go water, toothpaste, water – so 1. I imagine you’re 1 too. I have a shower, and brush my teeth after – before coffee. I make coffee straight away, but rarely get to drink it for half an hour (and then re-make it). I brush my teeth first thing in the morning, and last thing at night. I do brush my teeth if we’re going out for the evening, and I’ll be making conversation with people. I can’t stand bad breath.

After actually having to think about it, I’m in line with the answer for question 1 as the third option. As for you, I’ll say you’re a #2.
3. As I usually have coffee mid morning I have already flossed and brushed by then. I typically eat, floss/brush and then go for my walk. I want a clean mouth in case anyone needs to render CPR to my lifeless body.
4. Can’t pinpoint a time, but it would definitely not be something like OJ after minty toothpaste.
5. Floss and brush, in that order morning and night with extra during the day if really needed.
6. The opportunity has not arisen in a long time for wanted or unwanted kissing or making out so I have no need to worry about this one š
