Interrupted weekend morning

Instagram is down. Again.

Sometimes I don’t care about that app, but I had a fun outing yesterday and posted stuff and I wanted to see if anyone cared.

Perfect time to sit with IG is during morning coffee on a weekend when no one *needs* breakfast or packed lunches. Like right now.

And if they do want breakfast, I can always point in the general direction of the kitchen. After all, the gigantic boxes of cereal I bought from Costco last time, which made me cringe, hesitate and put back before changing my mind, I picked up specifically for these types of mornings, when I’m on me-time.

Don’t bug me. Unless you bring me coffee.

On second thought, never mind, you make it too weak and not hot enough…

It’s Sunday. The other adult is heading into the bush to clean up the club ahead of shooting season despite the drizzle.

Better him than me! πŸ˜‰

Only thing on the books for me today is a year-end banquet for the girl child’s Ringette team which means I don’t have to make lunch, either. For $30 I get to eat overcooked mac and cheese and chicken fingers, probably.

Plus they make us wait till after speeches. It’s not run well but we love the organization so we go every year and suffer through it. 😢

Happy Sunday! If anyone wants to go grocery shopping for me, let me know, I’ll send you a list. πŸ™‚

  1. Our meals on tour with the rugby team were surprisingly good – it was mass catering, but we got full cooked breakfasts every morning, a roast dinner on Sunday, and a barbecue on Saturday night (although it was more a case of “hotdog, burger, and pile of chips”) πŸ™‚

      1. Yes, you may roll away. A mother’s job is never done. That statement seems to be more true when your trying to have me time. In fact, they seem to need you more at that time than any other πŸ˜‰
