Tuesday, you’re on notice

The sun has arrived, the snow and ice is melting, everything is turning into mud and I’m sitting on my couch writing romantic fiction. Steamy romantic fiction.

Also, let it be known that the SAMSUNG FRIDGE is once again being defrosted. I just finished cleaning it before turning the circuit breaker back on to have it go back to its proper temperature.

My food is in coolers on the back porch. BLAH. (If you’re new to this blog, never buy Samsung appliances.)

Tomorrow is my son’s 14th birthday.

He’s sitting beside me now, just woke up at 10:30 am. Which is why I am now blogging, instead of writing fiction. πŸ˜› (We’re on spring break, no school.)

I told him we’re going to a movie tonight, to see a documentary. It’s part of a family gift for him for his birthday.

He doesn’t want to go. Doesn’t give a reason why. Just that he doesn’t want to watch a documentary. (He’s going anyway…)

He’ll be fine once we’re there…but it’ll be the usual waiting/enticing/encouraging/muttering under our breaths to get him ready to go…

I know I know, teenagers. He’ll grow out of it eventually… πŸ™‚

When he finishes waking up, maybe eats something, and then heads back down to the basement to plug into his PS4, I’ll be able to continue writing my story.

Until then…maybe I’ll go finish loading the fridge with the food from the coolers.

Tuesday, you’re on notice. πŸ™‚

  1. I’ve just watched the trailer Apollo 11. Now I want to see it πŸ˜‰

I usually just tell the kids that we’re going out and we’re staying out until they start enjoying themselves πŸ˜‰
